In response to the growing concerns around the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to take the opportunity to share the extra protective measures The Lakes Hotel is taking to support our staff and patrons through this challenging time. We are taking all reasonable steps to mitigate any risk of infection both within the venue and to the wider community and those most vulnerable, while continuing to serve our customers to the highest standard.

In addition to our already diligent standards of hygiene and cleanliness, we have adopted the following practices:

·       Hand sanitizer is available at the bistro and all bars

·       Increased food safety measures

·       Regular wiping down of all hard surfaces/eftpos facilities/door handles and commonly touched surfaces with antibacterial spray

·       More regular cleaning of amenities

·       Ensuring staff members practice exceptional personal hygiene

·       Monitoring staff wellness and providing education on the requirements of self-isolation

 These measures should cause minimal disruption to your experience within our venue so we hope you will continue to support our business while it is safe to do so.
